April - Get The Sales Edge with Gavin Ingham Do you sometimes lack the
sales energy and drive that you would like? Do you know you can achieve
more but rarely do? Do you sometimes lose confidence, motivation and
focus under the pressure of day to day challenges?
Would you like to be
able to
make more client contacts, build stronger relationships, develop
stronger needs, negotiate higher revenues and close more business? If the answer to any of
these
is "Yes" then come to this evening's session with sales guru
and
leading speaker Gavin Ingham. This powerful evening will
help you in taking responsibility for your own success and propelling
yourself to take massive action every day. Gavin says: "When I ask sales
directors, About the speaker: For the last 10 years, Gavin Ingham has been helping sales people to explode their sales performance by turning self-doubt, fear and lack of motivation into self-belief, confidence and action. With his inspirational approach to sales performance and motivation Gavin combines commercial experience, personal excellence and communications technologies in delivering personal and business sales success. From the despair of losing 18 deals in a row to the triumph of his first major deal; this compelling roller-coaster journey to success uniquely qualifies Gavin as an expert in how to maximise sales performance under intense competition. His unique and inspirational perspective and the way he shares it truly demonstrates the power of the individual over external events such as competition, tough markets and personal circumstances. A personal recommendation from Andy Smith: I have known Gavin for a number of years and am very impressed by his energy and integrity. I have seen him in action enthusing an audience of sales people, and also making a real difference with a very different audience when he guested on my NLP Master Practitioner programme a couple of years ago. Even if you don't think of yourself as a sales person, I am confident you will be thinking of sales in a different way after this evening. See you there! Visit Gavin's web site at www.gaviningham.net

your place at this month's meeting gave you the October - Using Metaprograms To Enhance Business Communication with Peter McNab We are bombarded with millions of bits of information at any one time. We cannot process all of this information; we have to make choices about which information to utilise and act upon. One of the ways in which we make these differentiations is through Metaprograms which are the unconscious filters that we use to sift our experiences. In this evening presentation Peter will be sharing material that he has introduced into a number of organisations including Accenture, British Telecom, TDG, Accor, Alpha Flight Services, Greater Manchester Police, Greater Manchester Strategic Health Authority & the North West Post Graduate Deanery. The presentation is designed so that participants will be able to take away practical skills that they will be able to use the next day in their work. Peter's presentations are best known for their humour and humanity. He presents the material in a simple way that enables people to make links into their personal and business lives. Peter's NLP institute, excellenceforall, introduced NLP to the north west of England in the early nineties. He is the only certified Core Transformation trainer outside the US and is one of only three people to be personally certified as an NLP trainer by Connirae & Steve Andreas. He has also trained with John Seymour & Joseph O'Connor and assisted Robert Dilts. He has taught NLP on four continents in over a dozen countries. He is also a founder member of Ken Wilber's Integral Institute. Peter is also the author of 'Towards An Integral Vision: Using NLP & Ken Wilber's AQAL Model To Enhance Communication' with a preface by Ken Wilber.
November - Executive Coaching with Derek Jackson Finding ways of improving anything you choose is a life process well worth learning. Being able to coach others to do this is a gift to give. Coaching so often only addresses the level of performance, focusing on what isn't working, with the desire to fix what's wrong. This approach tends to ignore the wider system around the performance. So often the management, direction and overall coordination of the performance is overlooked, which can generate a range of options to enhance and improve behaviours. This workshop will introduce a framework to take Coaching to these higher levels. Here you can learn how to improve anything you set your mind to, and be able to coach others to do the same. Using a future based approach, you can distinguish and capture the different new behaviours to develop without the need to go back and fix old ones. More importantly, with this mindset and framework, you can continue to self improve, independent of anyone else. DEREK JACKSON Derek has spent most of his working life as a training consultant fascinated with systems - systems within organisations, teams and within individuals. In a past life, he was a clockmaker! When he heard that NLP was the study of the structure of experience, he was hooked. His involvement in NLP and modelling has greatly expanded this understanding and his ability to describe the dynamics involved. As a result he has been able to combine his NLP learning with the accrued wisdom of our contemporary systems thinkers. Derek is co-founder of The Northern School of NLP and The Professional Guild of NLP. December - Leadership Values and Behaviours
- Jane Douglas and Darren Anglesea Research clearly shows that effective leaders behave ‘effectively’ because they inspire a clear vision. They know what they stand for, have personal credibility and ‘walk the walk.’ They confidently and clearly communicate their message and then trust and enable others to do the job they are paid to do. They set an inspiring example and have the courage to take calculated risks….and they celebrate and congratulate when things go well. In other
words effective leaders are effective because of who they are, as much
as for what they do! Jane and Darren are co-directors of Learning to Inspire Ltd a consulting and training firm with an excellent reputation in designing and delivering, leadership development, train the trainer, and personal development seminars. The company aims to make a positive difference in the world through the strands of Leading Learning and Living. Their vision, they say, is simple - to help chosen
clients to realise theirs.

Home Programme - Sue Beever, transformational coach "Adam Sargant crammed what is normally a full day’s worth of material into a couple of hours and I came away with much more awareness of how my own beliefs and values related to anger, aggression and violence in and out of the workplace. We also covered the physiology and psychology of anger, the use of rapport skills and personal safety awareness. Very useful evening and I will be able to apply some of this stuff." - Jeremy Dent, Valideo Interactive NW Business NLP and EI Group is sponsored by:
